Linda Garrison

image001-1Linda is an aspiring ethologist interested in individual variation in behavior and how group composition influences group-level outcomes.

She earned her B.Sc in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Texas at Austin. For undergraduate research, she studied information transfer in the African cichlid Astatotilapia burtoni, focusing on whether the social position of an individual affects their function as an agent of information transfer.

Linda is a PhD student in the Max Planck Institute Department of Collective Behaviour, the IMPRS for Organismal Biology, and the Univeristy of Konstanz Department of Biology.
