Ariana Strandburg-Peshkin

Currently I am Gips-Schüle Junior Research Group Leader at the University of Konstanz. Previously I was a Human Frontier Science Program postdoctoral fellow at the University of Zurich, and prior to that, in Nov 2016, I completed my PhD in Quantitative and Computational Biology at Princeton University, where I studied collective animal behavior in fish at baboons as a member of the Couzin lab. Before coming to Princeton, I went to Swarthmore College, where I majored in physics and minored in biology. My interest in complex systems was sparked by participating in a summer research program at the Santa Fe Institute in 2008, and I have been hooked ever since.
